Dustin J. Plumadore

Dustin Plumadore is a mergers and acquisitions and health law attorney in Dickinson Wright’s Washington, D.C. office, focusing his practice on healthcare transactional, regulatory, and corporate matters. Dustin’s many years of legal experience and a knowledge of healthcare law allows him to provide his clients with a measurable advantage when navigating transactions and other issues within the complex and highly regulated healthcare industry.

Dustin has handled a broad range of legal matters, including representing clients in complex healthcare transactions, physician joint ventures, contract drafting, HIPAA/HITECH compliance, and navigating the intricacies of Stark, Anti-Kickback, EKRA, and the Corporate Practice of Medicine.  Before joining Dickinson Wright, he led strategic transactional initiatives, overseeing several multi-million dollar acquisitions and divestitures of healthcare practices, networks, and assets.

Earlier in his career, Dustin served as Captain in the U.S. Army’s Field Artillery for five years, earning multiple military honors and enhancing his leadership and strategic planning skills.

• Provided representation for a client’s simultaneous acquisition of multiple cancer centers in North Carolina and all related assets totaling in excess of $65M.
• Provided representation and performed all legal tasks for a client’s $34.8M acquisition of interest in an outpatient surgery center joint venture in South Carolina.
• Provided representation and performed all legal support for a client’s $32.5M divestiture of medical practice in Michigan.
• Provided representation and performed all legal tasks for a client’s $6.6M acquisition of interest in an outpatient surgery center joint venture in South Carolina.
• Provided representation and performed all legal tasks for a client’s $3.5M divestiture of interest in an outpatient surgery center joint venture in North Carolina.
• Provided representation and performed all legal support for a client’s $3.2M acquisition of medical transportation company in Illinois.
• Provided representation and performed all legal tasks for a client’s divestiture of interest in a Nevada physical therapy clinic valued at $2M.
