Casey O’Neill Joins Dickinson Wright Silicon Valley Office

    Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Casey O’Neill has joined the firm’s Silicon Valley office as Of Counsel.

    Casey is a trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor who represents companies, executives, boards, investment firms, and other clients in white collar criminal and other government enforcement matters, and in private civil litigation. His government enforcement practice includes insider trading and other securities fraud cases, numerous cryptocurrency and digital asset matters, bank, wire, and tax fraud cases, money laundering and sanctions cases, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations. Alongside his enforcement work, Casey handles private civil litigation involving securities, fiduciary, and complex commercial disputes.

    Before entering private practice, Casey served as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division, Fraud Section, Securities and Financial Fraud Unit. He also served in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.

    Casey has been recognized as a leader in his field by the New York Law Journal, Northern California Super Lawyers, and similar publications. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association’s Northern District of California Chapter and the White Collar Crime Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also has served as an Advisory Board Member for White Collar Law360. Casey received his B.A. from the University of San Diego, his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
