Turner S. Smith

Turner S. Smith is an associate in the firm’s Phoenix office. He focuses his practice on complex civil cases, particularly constitutional law, municipal law, tribal law, labor and employment litigation, and commercial and business litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Turner served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Michael T. Liburdi at the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. There, Turner played a crucial role in resolving intricate civil matters, spanning various legal areas, thus gaining experience in his current practice areas. Additionally, Turner assisted in multiple court hearings and jury trials, dealing with a diverse range of subjects. 

• Represented four property owners in litigation and extensive negotiations in connection with a proposed 69,000-volt transmission line project proposed by an electrical service provider.
• Retained by a wealth management firm to defend them in a nationwide class action based on allegations related to cash sweep practices.
