Matthew V. Sams

Matthew Sams is an associate in Dickinson Wright’s Austin office, where he focuses his practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and securities law. Drawing on his background as a Division I athlete and his training in sports law, Matthew offers clients a distinctive perspective on matters at the intersection of business, sport, and entertainment.

While at Tulane University School of Law, Matthew gained practical experience in both corporate and litigation matters as a Summer Associate with Dickinson Wright and spent his final semester as an extern for the Sun Belt Conference.
