Mark D. Marsden, PhD

Mark Marsden is an intellectual property attorney whose practice focuses on life sciences and biotechnology matters. Drawing on his background as a molecular biologist, he works with clients to protect complex scientific innovations and navigate intellectual property issues involving cutting-edge technologies.

Before transitioning to law, Mark conducted postdoctoral research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, where his work focused on the genetic regulation of human serpin genes. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of London at the National Institute for Medical Research, where his research examined the organization and regulation of human gene clusters.
