    Overview

    Kim’s practice involves all aspects of commercial real estate development, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, land use and leasing; mergers, acquisitions and general corporate representation of closely held companies; mineral and natural resources transactions; representing both borrowers and lenders in asset-based lending and other commercial lending matters; secured transactions; and tax increment financing.

    Experience

    • Key member of deal team responsible for negotiating and documenting sale of fitness industry assets and related real estate interests in multiple states
    • Advised borrowers in securitized finance and defeasance transactions
    • Counsel for shopping center owners in negotiating and documenting ECR agreements and leases to national and regional tenants
    • Represented corporate investor with respect to acquisition of significant equity interest in coal mining business
    • Negotiated complex investment in equine operations business and related real estate holding company
    • Represented purchaser of hardwoods products businesses
