Aurora M. Walker

Aurora focuses her practice on all aspects of family law. As a student mediator with the Lodestar Mediation Clinic, she learned the importance of resolving conflicts in creative ways. Aurora believes that each family has unique needs requiring different pathways and she is honored to be a part of each client’s journey.

• Successfully defended client in a contested divorce action against false allegations of sexual misconduct to secure client’s equal parenting time rights to the minor child.
• Worked with custody evaluator, mental health experts, and business valuation experts on complex family law matter to assist with obtaining favorable judgment for client on parenting time and business interests.
• Participated in mediation and settlement discussions with client in resolving a complex divorce case involving client’s separate property rental homes, community liens, and tracing of income and debt.
• Secured a prompt dismissal of client’s spouse’s divorce petition for lack of personal jurisdiction in Arizona.
• Represented client in a high-conflict divorce matter to ultimately secure joint legal decision-making and parenting time rights with the minor child, as well as an equitable division of the community assets.
• Successfully defended against claims of domestic violence and mental health concerns in an evidentiary hearing, resulting in equal parenting rights for the client and immediate access to his child for the first time in over three months.
