Kathryn S. Wood Joins Ranks of Michigan State Bar Foundation Fellows

Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Kathryn S. Wood was welcomed into the 2023 Class of Fellows by the Michigan State Bar Foundation. Kathryn is a member partner in the firm’s Troy office and focuses her practice on employment litigation, commercial litigation and appellate practice, including discrimination, harassment and whistleblower/retaliation claims, class actions, non-compete/non-solicitation matters, defamation clams, contract disputes, fraud claims, and business tort claims. She is also an experienced advisor to employers regarding employment issues that arise outside of the litigation context.  

When asked what it means to be named as a Fellow, Wood replied, “I am honored to be a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation. Access to legal assistance and the availability of educational legal programming to assist all citizens of Michigan in understanding their legal rights and responsibilities are critically important to a just legal system.”

Established in 1984, the Michigan State Bar Foundation’s Fellows Program recognizes distinguished Michigan lawyers for their professional excellence and service to the community. The Fellows Program supports the Foundation in providing leadership and grants for improvements in the administration of justice and the delivery of civil legal aid to low-income individuals and families. The opportunity to join the Fellows is only extended to a limited number of Michigan lawyers each year. .
