Peggy Kozal Joins Dickinson Wright Denver Office as a Member

    Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Peggy Kozal has joined the firm’s Denver office as a Member.

    Peggy focuses her practice on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, healthcare litigation, privacy and data security, Medicare/Medicaid certification and reimbursement, fraud and abuse, provider contracting, licensure, and accreditation. She frequently represents various healthcare professionals and entities, including long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, home health agencies, hospices, federally qualified health centers, community health centers, behavioral health facilities, physician practices, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. Peggy provides legal guidance to identify critical problems and apply compliance principles that minimize risk and promote client objectives. She also advises healthcare clients in contemplated business transactions to structure legal, practical arrangements.

    Peggy is recognized as a leader in her field by Best Lawyers in America. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, LeadingAge Colorado, the Colorado Health Care Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association. She is a member of the Board of Directors for WellPower f/k/a Mental Health Center of Denver by mayoral appointment. Peggy received her B.A. from the University of Iowa and her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law.
