Attorney Kester So Elected President of the U.S. Law Firm Group

    Kester So, a Member of Dickinson Wright PLLC, was elected President of the Board of Trustees of the United States Law Firm Group at its recent Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona.

    The U.S. Law Firm Group is comprised of 17 established and independent large law firms located throughout the United States, whose leaders serve on the Board of Trustees. The U.S. Law Firm Group provides a forum for best practices and a referral network which covers nearly all geographical areas of the United States.

    Mr. So is a member of his firm’s management group and specializes in municipal finance, where he has served as bond counsel or underwriter’s counsel on a wide variety of bond issues, including bonds for health care, public power, higher education, student loan, transportation, unemployment insurance, tax increment financing, state revolving fund, environmental, school bond loan fund, State and local building authorities, airports, water and sewer, solid waste disposal and economic and industrial development bonds. He received his A.B. from the University of Michigan with high distinction and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
