Kate Lowenhar-Fisher and Greg Gemignani Quoted in Gaming Today Article on the Federal Wire Act

Kate Lowenhar-Fisher (Member, Las Vegas) and Greg Gemignani (Member, Las Vegas) recently were quoted in the Gaming Today article, “Time to Put the Wire Act to Bed.”

The article discusses the opinion that the Wire Act is outdated, as technology has changed since its inception. “60% of sports wagers are made through mobile accounts,” said Greg.

Kate told Gaming Today that, “It can be no coincidence that such an opinion came down as online wagering is expanding across the United States. I expect lawsuits will soon follow.”
