Kim Ferreira Joins Dickinson Wright Toronto Office as a Partner

    Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Kim Ferreira has joined the firm’s Toronto office as a Partner.

    Kim is an experienced litigator with a broad commercial, construction, and bankruptcy practice. He approaches each matter with a practical, business-focused mindset, focused on outcomes that align with his clients’ objectives. He has worked on nationally recognized litigation and insolvency matters while managing his own files and developing hands-on advocacy experience. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as the Québec Superior Court and Court of Appeal.

    Kim represents clients in complex commercial disputes, including claims involving breach of contract, statutory duties, negligence, and fraud. His clients range from large infrastructure and regulated entities to private companies, auto manufacturers, directors and officers, creditors, and debtor corporations. He also continues to build on his experience in proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. In addition, Kim has an expanding condominium law litigation practice, regularly advising condominium corporations, boards of directors, and property managers on issues arising under the Condominium Act, 1998.

    Kim is the immediate Past President of the Peel Law Association. He frequently speaks at continuing education programs hosted by Osgoode Professional Development, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Peel Law Association. Kim received his B.A. from the University of Windsor and his L.L.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
