Dickinson Wright Statement Condemning Antisemitism
Overview
Dickinson Wright stands against hatred in all of its forms and is committed to creating a Firm and a profession that is inclusive and equitable for all. As members of the legal profession, we have the extraordinary obligation not only to defend the rule of law, but also to advocate on behalf of our colleagues, clients, friends, and communities who are experiencing increased violence and discrimination.
Today, we condemn the increasing number of antisemitic attacks currently being faced by the Jewish community, including recent physical attacks against the Jewish community in California, the vandalism of a synagogue in Arizona, and the hacking of a school board website with antisemitic slurs in Michigan—three locations where our Firm has offices.
The guiding principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to who we are as a Firm and as a nation. Dickinson Wright is proud to stand in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, clients and friends. We commit to engaging in further pro bono legal services to lessen and prevent antisemitic violence and hate speech and developing resources that enable our attorneys and staff to increase their knowledge of the long history of antisemitism in America and elsewhere.
