Attorney Melissa Waite Joins Dickinson Wright's Las Vegas Office

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney Melissa Waite has joined the firm’s Las Vegas office as a Member.

Ms. Waite focuses her practice on a variety of transactional disciplines, including business formation, real estate transactions, commercial transactions, privilege licensing, including liquor and gaming licensing and marijuana law. She has been involved with licensing and compliance for medical and retail marijuana establishments in Nevada, and emerging legal issues related to marijuana businesses.

Ms. Waite is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Nevada, the National Cannabis Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. She is a member of the Alumni Leadership Circle and the Dean’s Council of the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is recognized as a leader in her field by Nevada Business “Legal Elite”.

Ms. Waite received her B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; her M.B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas College of Business; and her J.D. from William S. Boyd School of Law.
