When detailing the rise in disputes regarding out-of-state developers and Florida licensing, Adam states, “I’m seeing issues during the middle of a project…because construction executives are coming into the state and utilizing their contacts and their experience to sign up projects. But they are doing so without truly grasping what’s necessary under Florida law when it comes to licensing.” Additionally, Charles highlights the initial optimism regarding the Live Local Act, stating, “I was very optimistic thinking this should be a really fluid way of encouraging new developments.
